ABOUT BROOKE

HELLO

I believe that when we feel more connected and in balance within ourselves, it naturally flows into every part of our lives—our relationships, our work, and the way we show up for others.

MY STORY

It began with a headache.

The summer before I started graduate school I walked into my first yoga class carrying years of chronic migraine. Within weeks something shifted. The headaches that had defined my daily life began to quiet — not through medication but through the ancient practice of connecting breath, body, and awareness. I was astonished. And I was hooked.

That same autumn I began my master's program in Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University — studying neurological disease processes and mental health, learning how the nervous system shapes every aspect of human function and daily life. What I was discovering in the classroom and what I had experienced on the yoga mat were telling the same story in different languages.

That discovery became my life's work.

Over 22 years of occupational therapy practice I have specialized in chronic pain, nervous system regulation, and the intersection of modern neuroscience and ancient healing. I deepened my study of yoga — completing my yoga teacher certification with Sarah Tomlinson of Sarah Yantra — and pursued energy healing, becoming a Reiki Master and dedicating 17 years of study to Sai Shakti Healing under the lineage of Sri Kaleshwar of Penukonda. Later in my career I completed my Therapeutic Pain Specialist certification — bringing the latest pain neuroscience into my clinical work.

In 2026 I made a pilgrimage to Tamil Nadu, India — visiting each of the nine Navagraha temples, sitting with the planetary intelligences that Ancient Ayurveda teaches shape our strengths, our challenges, and our path through life. That journey — and everything it opened — lives in every session I offer at Inner Silence.

I created Inner Silence because I kept witnessing people fall through the gap between clinical care and holistic healing — receiving either symptom management or spiritual guidance, but rarely both, and almost never from a single clinician who spoke both languages fluently.

That gap is what Inner Silence was built to close.

The mind, the body, and the nervous system are one inseparable system. Ancient wisdom had always known this. Modern science was catching up.

This is not coaching. This is not talk therapy. This is occupational therapy — one of the most whole-person clinical disciplines in existence — reimagined for deep, lasting transformation. Through Restore. Rewire. Rise., Still Fridays, and one-on-one integrative sessions, I offer something I couldn't find anywhere else when I needed it most.

A place where clinical expertise and ancient wisdom live in the same room.
